Charging electric scooters
How do I charge my electric scooter?
Our electric scooters are equipped with two removable batteries and a charger.
You can easily connect the charger to any standard electrical outlet at home or in the office.
The charging time for the battery is approximately six hours. It is best to take your battery inside your apartment/house and always fully charge it in advance before your next ride.
General precautions when charging batteries:
- Always use the original charger.
- Preferably charge batteries at room temperature.
- Charge the batteries completely after each ride to prevent deep discharge.
- Check the battery’s charge status during extended storage and charge as needed.
- Avoid deep discharge and maintain the battery level above 30 percent.
- Batteries should only be charged in the presence of a person to minimize the risk of fire.
What should I know about batteries?
Batteries are sensitive electronic components and must be handled and transported with care. The fact that they are removable does not mean they are resistant to impacts, liquids, temperatures, etc.
Batteries do not like cold temperatures: 20 °C is the optimal operating temperature. Generally, lower ranges are achieved in cold weather. Ideally, charge the batteries at room temperature to keep the battery cells neither too warm nor too cold. In a dry and protected environment from direct sunlight, batteries have optimal charging conditions.
Helmet
Do I always have to wear a helmet when riding a mo2drive scooter?
Yes, because mo2drive scooters are considered mopeds, and there is a legal requirement to wear a helmet when operating mopeds.
